Alberta Government Library
OverviewThe Alberta Government Library provides library services to all Government of Alberta departments as well as some boards and agencies.
The library’s print and digital collections are developed to meet the needs of its government clients, and include a comprehensive collection of current and historic Government of Alberta publications.
The library also provides government staff with access to the resources of the broader library community through its membership in the NEOS Library Consortium, The Alberta Library, and other library organizations. Through these partnerships, the library makes its collection accessible to a wider community, including academic- and public-library members.
The library is open to the public. Visitors are welcome to use the print, audio-visual and digital resources available on site.
Library staff are available to:
- provide general library orientations
- help find and use information and resources available in the library
