Government of Alberta Information and Services (I&S) Strategy
Service Alberta, through the CIO Council, coordinates the development and implementation of the new Information and Services Strategy that strongly emphasizes a one-enterprise approach, the need for core funding for corporate I&S initiatives and leveraging the existing investments that the government has made.
It is promoting a one government approach and identifies four strategic priorities:
- Sound I&S leadership and management
- Standard foundations for business and citizen-centric services
- Integrated information to help the government make informed decisions
- Shared technology infrastructure
