Financial Services
- Administers shared services to government in accounts payable and receivable, revenue and capital asset management, collections, payroll, employee benefits and reporting, electronic payment systems and business re-engineering and innovation
- Manages the government's vehicle fleet in a safe, reliable and cost-effective manner
- Serves ministry and other government customers by procuring the goods and selected services necessary to fulfill their business needs through purchasing and/or contracting for supplies, transport, warehousing, asset tracking and management and disposal of surplus goods
- Provides support to the ministry in the areas of budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting and policy, contract review, business and operational planning, performance measurement, risk management, annual reporting and ministry correspondence
- Provides support to government departments, agencies and local public bodies in administering the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP)
- Provides information and resource materials to private sector organizations subject to the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA)
- Manages the legislative agenda and FOIP Act administration for the ministry
