Enterprise Services

Enterprise Services leads the cross-government strategic approach to information and communication technology infrastructure services to all government departments and some agencies, boards and commissions.

This division also provides secretariat support to the Alberta government's Chief Information Officer (CIO) Council and is responsible for a number of initiatives such as:

• The Citizen Services Initiative for better access to government information and services for Albertans
  
  
• The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Service Co-ordination Initiative to create a common technology services management and delivery framework for the entire Alberta government, resulting in cost savings
  
  
• The GOA Domain Initiative, a cross-ministry approach to set up a standardized delivery of ICT services to ministries

Enterprise Services also provides project management  and ensures comprehensive delivery for large-scale projects.
