How it works





New West Partnership Trade Agreement – Alberta Cooperatives

The New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA) is a comprehensive trade relationship between Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan that fosters interprovincial collaboration.  The agreement makes it easier for cooperatives to operate across provincial borders by simplifying registration and reporting requirements.  To learn more about  NWTPA  refer to their website.

If you have an Alberta cooperative and want to conduct business extra-provincially in British Columbia and/or Saskatchewan, complete the appropriate NWPTA form below and send to the Alberta Director of Cooperatives at:
