Vehicle seizures

People driving with a suspended licence can have their vehicle seized and impounded.

People stopped by a law enforcement officer driving with a suspended licence can have their vehicle seized and impounded for 30 days.

If the vehicle seizure involves the same suspended driver and vehicle owner within a 3-year window, the seizure period is 60 days.

If you want to appeal your seizure you may purchase an Application for Hearing from a registry agent. The application fee is non-refundable.
