Alberta SuperNet

Alberta SuperNet is a broadband network that connects to rural and urban communities in the province.
The SuperNet was built to connect public institutions– schools, hospitals, colleges, universities, libraries, and municipal offices – to a broadband network for high-speed Internet access, video conferencing and other services. Many Internet Service Providers (ISPs) also use it to deliver Internet services to rural consumers.

It’s a network of fibre-optic cables and wireless connections that reaches 429 communities across Alberta.
