Commissioner's Decisions
Section 69(1) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (the FOIP Act) requires the Information and Privacy Commissioner to conduct an Inquiry if a matter cannot be settled through mediation or investigation. Section 72(1) of the FOIP Act then requires the Commissioner to dispose of inquiry issues by making a formal Order.
