Application for a Temporary Appointment as an Alberta Marriage Commissioner - General Public (PDF, 3 pages)

  • You must include a detailed explanation of why a permanent Alberta marriage commissioner is not able to perform the marriage.
  • It’s the responsibility of you and the couple being married to provide this detailed explanation.
  • Include the names of all marriage commissioners contacted.
  • Ensure the application form is signed by you and the couple getting married.
