  • There are no prescribed forms to register a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP). When registering an LLP, the application must contain, or confirm:

    • The name of the LLP

    • That the LLP carries on the practice of an eligible profession

    • That there is either one or two representative partners in Alberta

    • That the registered address and, if present, the address for service by mail is in Alberta

    • The originating jurisdiction - for extra-provincial limited liability partnership registrations

    • That the professional endorsement has been provided

    • That the proof of status from the home jurisdiction is present - for extra-provincial limited liability partnership registrations
