Authorized Service Providers
The majority of Corporate Registry services are performed by authorized service providers. These are private sector firms that have been authorized by the government to offer some or most Corporate Registry services. An authorized service provider can be from a registry agent office, law firm, accounting firm, or search house.
Corporate Registry services have been categorized into four service levels: basic, level 1, level 2, and level 3. Authorized service providers can provide some or all of these services, based on their level of accreditation. Prior to obtaining any Corporate Registry service, you should discuss fees, payment options and filing requirements with your chosen authorized service provider. It is advisable to shop around for the best value for your money since fees are not regulated by the government and may vary from office to office.
For your convenience, a list of qualified registry agents and their office locations is available online for each of the four service levels. The government fees for services provided through the registry agent network can be found in the Registry Agent's Product Catalogue (pdf). Service providers are authorized to charge a service fee in addition to the government fee for the examination of your documents and the entry of these documents into the Corporate Registry database. For the location of other service providers, please consult your local yellow pages directory.
All other corporate and non-profit registration services are processed by the Corporate Registry office.
