Surplus Sales holds public auctions on a monthly basis at its facilities in Calgary and Edmonton. Material at these sales may consist of laboratory equipment, electronic equipment, medical equipment, office equipment, computer equipment, laundry and kitchen equipment and some office furniture. Sales in Calgary are held on the third Tuesday of each month and in Edmonton on the third Wednesday of each month.
In addition to the auctions at our facilities, Surplus Sales consigns material to auctioneers at various locations throughout Alberta as required. Auction companies conduct the sales from their facilities and advertise them through auction flyers and advertisements in local newspapers. Material usually consigned to these auctions includes household and office furniture, miscellaneous equipment and vehicles.
Payment Terms for Auction Sales
Acceptable methods of payments are established by the auctioneer conducting the sale. Potential bidders should be aware of the method of payment that is permissible by contacting the appropriate outlet. Payment can usually be made by cash, cheque or money order. Visa and MasterCard are also usually acceptable.
