Service Alberta's divisions are committed to delivering high-quality business, financial, information and technology services to government ministries as well as a diverse range of services that touch the lives of Albertans. The divisions follow a one government approach, enabling government to act seamlessly and provide easy access to programs and services for ministries and all citizens.

Business Services

Business Services provides shared services to government ministries including procurement services, accounts payable and receivable; Crown debt collections; employee pay and benefits; IMAGIS (Integrated Management Information System for the Alberta Government); government vehicle acquisitions, leases and rentals; and surplus sales. Read more

Consumer Services

Consumer Services works to ensure a fair marketplace for both buyers and sellers, and acts as a point of contact for the public, provides copies of government law and regulations, and negotiates settlements involving unfair trade practices and residential disputes.   Read more

Enterprise Services

Enterprise Services leads a cross-government strategic approach to information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure services to government departments, some agencies, boards and commissions. Read more

Information Services

Information Services is responsible for government records and information management services; Alberta Government Library; government and department FOIP administration; department legislative and policy services; investigations, audits, and agreements ensuring the integrity of Alberta’s registries; audit of regulated industries; and government print, mail, courier, telecom, office equipment, and government ID/building security card access services. Read more

Registries

Registry Services provides registry and search services for land titles (link), motor vehicles(link), personal property(link), vital statistics(link) (for example, birth, death and marriage), and corporations and non-profit organizations (link). The division is also responsible for managing the delivery of registry services through Alberta’s network of private registry agents. Read more
