Alberta Government Library

Overview

The Alberta Government Library provides a full range of library services to Government of Alberta ministries, boards and agencies as part of the shared services provided by Service Alberta. Library services are provided from eight locations, known as site libraries, each specializing in different subject areas and providing customized services for the ministries they serve. All the site libraries are open to the public, but some resources such as online journals and databases may be restricted to their primary clients or onsite use.

As well, the Alberta Government Library provides its customers with access to the resources of the broader library community through active participation in the NEOS Library Consortium, The Alberta Library and other library organizations.
