Burial Permits

A burial permit is required to bury, cremate or otherwise dispose of the body of a deceased person.

A cemetery will not consent to a burial, nor a crematorium to a cremation, without a burial permit.

Burial permits are produced by the funeral home taking care of the funeral arrangements.

For more information regarding burial permits, contact the Vital Statistics office.
